*History*
Hamzah Islamic Center was founded in 2005 based on the principles described above. The center rented a property of 6,000 SQ FT to accommodate both Jumaa prayers and its growing Sunday school demands.
The community grew so much, by the Grace of God, that a new center has purchased. It is 11.9 acres of land approximately a mile west of our current rentedl location. A county hearing was held at Forsyth County to approve building of a prayer hall, gym, religious school, daycare, playgrounds and more. Alhamdulillah, the project was unanimously approved by all commissioners.
๐ธ *Part-Time Hifz Program for Girls โ Summer 2026* ๐ธ
Hamzah Islamic Center is pleased to announce a *5-week Part-Time Hifz Program for Girls*, designed to help young students strengthen their connection with the Qurโan from the comfort of their homes.
This online program provides a structured and supportive environment for girls to begin or enhance their Hifz journey under qualified instructors. Students will focus on memorization, revision, and developing a consistent relationship with the Book of Allah.

๐๏ธ *Days:* Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
๐ *Time:* 2:00 PM โ 3:30 PM
๐ป *Format:* Live Online Classes

Whether your daughter is taking her first steps in memorization or looking to build upon her current progress, this program offers an excellent opportunity to make meaningful use of the summer break.

"Fasting on the day of Ashura expiates the sins of the previous year." (Sahih Muslim)

- 10th Muharram (Ashura) - Thursday, 25 June 2026
- 11th Muharram - Friday 26, June 2026.

โข Qur'an recitation
โข Dhikr and Rememberance
โข โ Du'a and sincere repentance
โข โ Charity and Good deeds
May Allah ุนุฒ ู ุฌู allow us to witness these blessed days,
accept our fasting and worship, and grant us forgiveness and mercy.
